D.O.T brass push in tube fitting bulkhead union connects two tubes through a panel or a barrier at straight line. It has push-to-connect tube connections on both ends. When installing, ensure tubing ends are cut squarely and free from burrs; to remove, hold down the top of the insert against the fitting body then pull out the tubing. This D.O.T push to connect fitting meets Department of Transportation (DOT) FMVSS 571.106 technical specifications. These D.O.T push in fittings are intended for use in pneumatic circuits for truck and trailers : air suspension, braking systems, transmissions, locking doors and windows, seat adjustment, instrumentation, air conditioning systems, horn, wiper motors, valves, cylinders and accessories. Accommodate inch tubing O.D ranging from 5/32″ to 1/2″. External tightening with a flat wrench.
